Modus Aequus is RagnaVentura's Medium Rate server, built around balanced progression, Level 300 character development, custom end-game content and competitive gameplay.

The server provides dedicated progression paths for both donation and non-donation players, with separate competitive environments designed to keep PvP and War of Emperium fair.

Character Progression

Modus Aequus is designed around balanced character development.

Players begin at Level 1 and progress through the standard class and Transcendent class system, eventually reaching:

  • Base Level 300
  • Job Level 300
  • Stats up to 300
  • 195 maximum ASPD

There are no custom leveling areas. Players level through the existing world while benefiting from Modus Aequus' medium rates.

A typical progression path is:

Level Up → Farm Equipment → Improve Your Build → Obtain Custom Equipment → Participate in End-Game Content

Donation & Non-Donation Progression

Modus Aequus supports both donation and non-donation players.

Donation equipment exists, but the server does not place donation and non-donation players into the same competitive environment.

Instead, competitive content is separated so that players using donation equipment do not gain an unavoidable advantage over players progressing entirely through gameplay.

Donation Players

Players who donate receive Credit Points.

Credit Points can be used directly for certain services or converted into Cash Points.

Non-Donation Players

Donation equipment itself cannot be obtained through normal gameplay.

Instead, non-donation players have access to Custom Item Quests, providing a separate equipment progression path through gameplay.

Credit Points & Cash Points

Modus Aequus uses two related currencies.

Currency Purpose
Credit Points Received through donations and used for services
Cash Points Used to purchase custom items from the Cash Points Shop

Credit Points can be converted into Cash Points at a:

1 Credit Point = 1 Cash Point

conversion rate.

Cash Points can then be spent through the Cash Points Shop to obtain available custom items.

24-Hour Double EXP

Credit Points can also be used through the VIP Manager NPC to activate:

24 Hours of Double EXP

This is the only VIP-related benefit currently used on Modus Aequus.

Once activated, the EXP benefit remains available for the specified 24-hour period.

Competitive Gameplay

A major part of Modus Aequus is maintaining competitive environments for players following different progression paths.

PvP

PvP is separated between:

  • Donation equipment PvP
  • Non-donation PvP

Players therefore compete against others following the same equipment environment.

This prevents donation equipment from creating an unavoidable advantage against players progressing entirely through gameplay.

War of Emperium

War of Emperium follows the same principle.

Modus Aequus provides separate WoE environments and schedules for:

  • Donation equipment competition
  • Non-donation competition

This allows both groups to participate competitively without requiring non-donation players to fight opponents using donation equipment.

Competitive separation

Donation and non-donation progression coexist on Modus Aequus, but their dedicated PvP and WoE environments remain separated.
