Devil's Challenge
Devil's Challenge is the solo version of Devil Square.
It is designed to test individual character strength by placing the player alone against five consecutive combat rounds.

Unlock Requirement
Devil's Challenge is initially locked.
To unlock it, your account must:
Survive all five monster rounds of a scheduled Devil Square event.
You must still be alive inside Devil Square when Round 5 is completed.
Once unlocked, the challenge becomes available to the entire account.
How to Enter
Speak with the Devil Square Guardian in Prontera and select:
Enter Devil's Challenge
The NPC displays:
- Attempts used today
- Attempts remaining today
You can then choose to begin the challenge.
Daily Attempt Limit
Each account receives:
3 Devil's Challenge attempts per day
The counter is shared across the account and resets on the next calendar day.
An attempt is consumed only after a private challenge room has successfully been reserved for you.
All rooms occupied
If all eight challenge rooms are currently occupied, you are asked to try again later and your attempt is not consumed.
Private Challenge Rooms
Devil's Challenge has 8 private rooms.
When entering, the system automatically assigns the first available room to your character.
Only your challenge run takes place inside that room.
Starting the Challenge
After entering:
- Your HP and SP are restored.
- Your private room is reserved.
- The challenge timer begins.
- Round 1 begins after a short preparation period.
You must then defeat all five rounds.
Five Rounds
Devil's Challenge consists of:
Round 1 → Round 2 → Round 3 → Round 4 → Round 5
Each round must be cleared before the next begins.
A short preparation period occurs between rounds.
Time Limit
You have a maximum of:
30 minutes
to complete the challenge.
If the timer expires before all five rounds are completed:
- The challenge ends.
- The room is released.
- Your run is considered unsuccessful.
Death
Unlike the main Devil Square event, there is no resurrection period in Devil's Challenge.
If your character dies during the challenge:
- The run ends immediately.
- The private room is released.
- The attempt remains consumed.
- You are returned to Prontera.
Disconnecting
Disconnecting during an active Devil's Challenge also ends the current run and releases the private room.
Completing the Challenge
Defeat all five rounds to complete Devil's Challenge.
Successful completion awards:
3 × Devil Square Tokens
An exit portal then appears inside your private room.
Enter the portal to return to Prontera.
Rankings
Every successful completion is recorded.
The Devil's Challenge ranking system tracks:
- Total solo completions
- Most recent completion
This allows players to compete for recognition beyond simply completing the challenge once.
