Devil Square

Devil Square is one of RagnaVentura's major custom combat events.

Players fight together through five increasingly difficult monster rounds. Those who survive all five rounds receive rewards and advance to a final PvP battle where only one champion can remain.

When registration opens, players have 5 minutes to enter.

The event then begins automatically.

How to Enter

To participate:

  1. Wait for Devil Square registration to open.
  2. Speak with the Devil Square Guardian in Prontera.
  3. Your character must be at least Base Level 70.
  4. Pay the 20,000 Zeny registration fee.
  5. You will be transported into Devil Square.
  6. Prepare for Round 1.

Your HP and SP are restored when entering.

The Five Rounds

Devil Square contains five consecutive monster rounds.

Each round must be completely cleared before the next begins.

There is a short preparation period between rounds.

Later rounds introduce increasingly dangerous enemies and Boss monsters.

Death & Resurrection

During the five monster rounds, death does not immediately remove you from the event.

If you die:

  • Other players have 1 minute to resurrect you.
  • If you are successfully revived, you may continue.
  • If you remain dead after the resurrection period, you are removed from Devil Square.

PvP is different

The resurrection period only applies during the monster rounds.

Once the PvP stage begins, death means immediate elimination.

Surviving Round 5

Players who are alive inside Devil Square when Round 5 is completed are officially counted as Wave 5 survivors.

Each eligible survivor receives:

5 × Devil Square Tokens

Surviving all five rounds also permanently unlocks Devil's Challenge for the player's account.

Final PvP Battle

After Round 5, surviving players receive a short preparation period before PvP begins.

The objective is simple:

Only one player may remain.

Defeated players are immediately removed from the arena.

When only one living player remains, that player becomes the:

PvP Champion Reward

The PvP Champion receives an additional:

10 × Devil Square Tokens

The victory is also recorded in the Devil Square rankings.

The first victory additionally unlocks the:

Devil Square Champion Achievement & Title

Champion Chest

After winning the PvP stage, a Devil Square Champion Chest appears.

Only the PvP Champion can claim it.

Guaranteed Champion Chest Rewards

The chest awards:

  • 5 Devil Square Tokens
  • 1 God Item Fragment
  • 1 Green Box
  • 3 Yggdrasil Berries
  • 1 random bonus reward

There is also:

  • 20% chance to receive a second God Item Fragment
  • 1% chance to receive a God Item Material Box

This means a Champion who survived Round 5 receives at least:

20 Devil Square Tokens total

from the Round 5 reward, PvP victory and Champion Chest.

If certain Champion Chest rewards cannot fit in the player's inventory, the event can send them through in-game mail.

God Item Progression

The current progression requirements are:

30 God Item Fragments → 1 God Item Material Box

A completed God Item requires:

  • 15 God Item Material Boxes
  • 1,000 Devil Square Tokens

Available creation options include:
